Although that sounds fascinating, “walking on people” only happens in the movies. In an Ashiatsu Massage, the practitioner is simply using their feet, instead of their hands to perform the massage. Generally, your therapist is simply standing on one foot, and using the other to smooth away your snarls and tension.

Absolutely! Consider walking on your kitchen floor, and being able to feel the sugar you spilled earlier. The soles of the feet actually have more nerve endings than the palms of our hands, so an Ashiatsu therapist can actually feel those subtle changes in your tissue, even more.

Absolutely! Once a week our therapist gets a professional pedicure and every day feet are inspected so there are never any calluses or sharp toenails. Your therapist's feet are washed before and after each session and contained in clean slippers anytime they are not on the table.

Unfortunately, no. This is a deep tissue modality, and therefore contraindicated for anyone with osteoporosis, osteopenia, currently/recently undergoing cancer treatments, pregnancy (after the first trimester), or anyone experiencing open wounds or injuries. While everyone’s skin and skincare needs are different, the general rule of thumb is 6-10 treatments on the face or neck, 8-12 treatments on the body. We are happy to schedule a free consultation to give you an estimate of what your skin will require, please reach out if you have more questions.

Everyone's skin and skin care needs are different, if you are experiencing a specific issue, your esthetician may want to see you back every few weeks or every few months. That being said, a great facial is such a wonderfully relaxing treatment, you will likely want to be here once a month.

Everyone’s hair growth rate is different, but generally you won't be ready for another wax for about a month.

Sadly, no. If you are currently using certain medications, ie. Acutane, or if you have varicose veins, you are not a good candidate for waxing services. Please reach out and chat with our esthetician to see if you are eligible for these services.
